We're back and we had a blast!!!!

Oh boy, what a week!! The flight there on Sunday was a good one, we arrived in Disney around 2pm and got checked in to our hotel. We headed to Downtown Disney that night where Jacob is pictured petting the Lego puppy. We spent the rest of the week park hopping and having a wonderful time. The weather was perfect and there were NO lines to get on any of the rides. Jacob decided he was not going to take a nap AT ALL and would go go go from 7am until about 9pm!!! It was so funny though because he would never get cranky, just really wired. It was hilarious to watch and he often drew attention to himself! We went to the 'Mickeys not so scary Halloween party' on Tuesday night which was fun, and we ended up joining the Disney vacation club before we left. Soooo, it looks like we will be traveling yearly now!!! Here are some of the TONS of pictures we took....

The parks were very well decorated for Halloween and Jacob LOVED LOVED LOVED the spray park at the hotel!

Doesn't Jacob look a little like speedy Gonzales....ariba ariba!!! Captain Hook and Mr Smeed, the goofy boys and breakfast with Tigger and Pooh.

Granny's favorite thing about Disney are their turkey legs...so in honor of her birthday (Sept 30) Mike ate one for her....happy birthday Granny! We put all kinds of silly hats on Jacob, why buy them if you can get a picture in them and put them back, thats all you really want anyway right? Grancie bought Jacob the CUTEST Buzz lightyear costume for the 'Not so scary Halloween' party on Tuesday night. He was sooooo precious in it.

Epcot displays 'Cokes around the world' that Mike likes to try every time we go to Disney. Most are pretty nasty, as displayed in Mikes face. We ate at LeCellier when we were in the country of Canada in Epcot. It is THE BEST steak I have ever eaten. I took a picture of Jacob right outside the gardens of this restaurant, which are some of the prettiest gardens I have ever seen. We also rode the monorail right up front with the driver. The monorail makes me very nervous - big train like vehicle on a very thin bridge type railing....

A few character shots: The bears from 'Brother Bear', Donald, Chip and Dale, Mickey and Minnie. Also, the picture with the big long neck bird is when we were eating in Animal Kingdom, the ducks, along with Mr long neck, were begging for food. This one basically looked Jacob in the eye and demanded food!!!

'It's tough to be a bug'....what a great show! It has been one of Jacob's favorite 3-d shows for the past 2 years, and one of the only ones he will keep his glasses on for! 'Everest' is the newest roller coaster in Animal Kingdom. I made Mike go first since I easily get motion sick from rides like this. I went on it with him when he told me I would love it. It was NOT my favorite, but it wasn't to bad....if you don't count the severe nausea I felt when we rode backwards at flying speeds! Jacob got to do his first (and only) "big man" ride in Animal Kingdom on the 'Kali river rapids'. He was SO excited about it, and so were we. Most all of the rides required a 40 inch minimum height, and he was 38" tall (the requirement for Kali rapids). The Rainforest cafe has these cute little animal butt bar stools....I bet people have gotten really inventive with their picture taking on these stools!!!

Epcot was having their annual food and wine festival while we were there and we decided to check it out for a bit on Thursday night. There was even a booth from Louisiana!!! Each booth set-up included a taste of food and wine from the area (available for purchase of course). Mike decided to try a glass from France. He left the tiniest smidgon of wine and Jacob was SO excited he got to taste it. I am sure any and all onlookers where appauled that we let im taste it, but seriously people, it was such a tiny drop....Bottoms up my boy!!!

Jacob made 2 friends in Disney this week. His first friend was 'Bubba'. Actually his first name was something Indian that I cannot remember, but his mom called him Bubba. They played wonderfully together and we saw him twice on our trip, how odd is that! The second playmate was 'Ellie'. Jacob played with her while we waited for Mike on the Rock n roller coaster. Ellie was acting like a damsel in distress while Jacob played the part of Prince Charming! Both of these kids (same age as Jacob) were taller than him....I fear he is going to be on the shorter side! Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum joined in on the fun too...

These are some pictures from MGM, or 'Hollywood Studios' as it is now called. Sounds too much like Universal Studios to me. I think I may always call it MGM! First is the Tower of Terror...an awesome elevator ride that drops you 13 stories and opens the elevator doors midway so you can see all of the park just before plumeting to your doom. Mike managed to find McDonalds fries at Disney and the last pictures are of our resort and of what Jacob looked like at the end of every day...blankie in mouth=)

Thats all folks! Oh, and the lack of sleep has now caught up with our little sleepless wonder, he is SCREAMING over spilled milk...literally....
