sick?

We are starting to wonder if poor little Jacob has a bladder infection and or virus...or BOTH!

Remember last week/weekend when he had nightime accidents 2 1/2 nights out of 4? Well we started noticing Monday that he was asking/telling us he had to pee...alot! This is very uncharacteristic of him, as he can hold his urine for hours before going to the bathroom, and often fights us when we tell him he has to go because it has been a while. He is claiming that he needs to go (what seems like) every half hour for the past few days. Sometimes within 2 or 3 minutes of just going! Definite frequency on his part. So I called the pediatrician today to get their opinion, and she says that if it is a bladder infection (which is not common in boys) that it may explain the bed wetting. So I made an appointment for tomorrow afternoon for him to have his tee tee checked.

Good thing, because tonight, just before bedtime, he vomited. I am SO glad that he was standing in the bathroom when it happened. He originally had been in bed and told me he had to potty (again!) so I went ahead and let him get up to go, when he got sick all over the bathroom floor. Poor little guy, he was so upset. So I bathed him (again), while poor Mike gagged his way through vomit ceanup duty.

He is sleeping now, and I hope he rests good tonight (no vomit please...). We shall see what the MD says tomorrow.
