WAY too much stuffed in to one day

We woke this morning, unsure of what the plans for the day would be. Mike and I spent some time rapping (yes, we rapped) a song during breakfast about the dog while Jacob looked at us as if we were crazy. Mike went to the gym, and then we decided to make a quick run to the mall before finally finishing up the garden work we started last weekend.

We got a lot done while shopping. Mike hit the jackpot at JC Penneys, where he found dress shirts for as low as $2.50!I also finally found a black tie for Jacob for the wedding he is in next month, no luck on the child suspenders or strapless bra though. Who pays $30 for a strapless bra? Is it just me or is that an insane price for something that is not worn everyday....?

After the mall, we came home to garden, while Jacob played with the neighbor girl. For some reason, working in the yard makes the time pass very quickly, because before we knew it, it was 6:30 in the pm.

I gathered in the troops for a quick washdown in the shower and we ran over to make (a very quick) Walmart run. I found a strapless bra here (big surprise) for only $10bucks. That's what I'm talking about!

On the way home, we stopped to fill up the tank in my car and (yet again) the credit card company had put a freeze on our card. The freeze it over the dumbest things. Mind numbing minuscule transactions. I appreciate a credit company watching so closely for fraudulent charges, but come on....does a two dollar and something charge at Race Track qualify as a fraudulent charge? I think not.

We got that squared away, filled up the car with gas, and rolled in to the drive at 8pm. Without dying eggs or putting out carrots for the Easter Bunny,we scooted Jacob off to bed with thoughts of candy and chocolate bunnies dancing in his head. It's a good think he is young enough to not mind missing out on the dying of the eggs. Maybe next year....

-------------------------------------------------------
Jacob: "mama, are we going to Jasons' pannies?"
me: "yes man, we are going to JC Penneys"

-------------------------------------------------------
Jacob: "mama, where is Madigascoe" (In reference to the US map)
me: "baby, do you mean New Mexico??"

Have a wonderful Easter Sunday
